Matt Johnson is the founder and Chief Strategy Officer of HAYMAKER, a small advertising agency that was featured by Ad Age as a Small Agency of the Year in 2020 and has been featured in The New York Times, The Today Show, and Adweek. No matter the opportunity, Matt’s thought leadership and expertise have consistently helped his partners win. Throughout his career, Matt has been the strategic thought leader for iconic brands such as Adidas, Powerade, Coca-Cola, The Truth Initiative, King’s Hawaiian, Coors Light, ESPN, and Instagram among others. Raised in Northern California, Matt has a soft spot for rocky coastlines and bold wines. When not in the office, Matt can be found drinking lemonade and rooting for the Ducks with his wife and two daughters.
