Spencer Paysinger

Spencer Paysinger is a former NFL linebacker whose journey from South Los Angeles to the pros inspired the hit CW series All American, now a Netflix sensation. A standout at Beverly Hills High, he captained the football team before earning his place at the University of Oregon, where he helped lead the Ducks to a BCS National Championship appearance. Paysinger signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2011, winning a Super Bowl in his rookie season. He went on to play for the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, and Carolina Panthers before retiring in 2017. Paysinger serves as a consulting producer on All American and makes cameo appearances as an assistant coach. He is passionate about authentic storytelling and uses his platform to uplift the next generation.
